SOLAR WATER HEATING - CAP

Go onto the roof with two spanners to tighten the cap. Another person will be inside the loft or wherever you have mounted the pumping station. The person at the pumping station needs to prime the solar water heating circuit imbetween the solar collector and the dual coil cylinder, by opening the three valves on the pumping station and connecting the hose pipe to the hand pump and into the tank of high heat transfer fluid. Then start pushing the hand pump in and out until fluid appears at the cap on the roof. Then you can tighten the cap to seal the circuit, continue pumping until the gauge on the station has reached one point five bar.
