Using the Circuit Diagram as a guide the components should be positioned to give simple and flowing pipe work

Angled a minimum of 15° from the horizontal, i.e. on a pitched roof or using a mounting frame kit

Access to the inside of the roof for plumbing and the outside via scaffolding to mount the collector

If mounting on a flat roof proceed to the ‘Flat Roof Mounting Frame’

Typically this will be a direct replacement for the existing cylinder only requiring extra vertical space

However if re-locating the cylinder do so to simplify and shorten the pipe work to the collector

Position for good access for maintenance and to give flowing pipe work

If possible place this above the cylinder, which is a good starting position

The controller can be mounted on the pumping station, or remotely to improve accessibility
