The pumping station and expansion vessel are supplied on backing boards for ease of mounting

The backing boards have been made of plywood to make them easy to modify if required

Position the pumping station to give flowing pipe work between the collector and cylinder

Position the expansion vessel a minimum of 500mm from the pumping station

Fit pumping station and expansion vessel using the 6x50mm screws and rawl plugs if required

Connect the circuit as shown in the diagram

The four connections to the manifold can be made in any pattern to suit your system’s layout

Make the pipe work as short and direct as practicable

Inverted loops must not be made or air locks will occur

Run the main circuit using 15mm copper pipes

Run the relief circuit in 15mm copper, for at least the first 2m, with an exit that is easily visible

Only use compression fittings within 1 meter of the collector as solder fittings will fail at high temperatures

Solder joint can be used else where, note pipe bends flow better than solder or compression elbows

Insulate pipe work inside and outside using the high temperature lagging supplied
