The collector tubes are strong but care must be taken particularly with the nipple at the bottom

The copper head can become hot in a few minutes when exposed to the sun

It is easier and cleaner to prepare the tubes in batches in their boxes before fitting

Place the black rubber boot on the bottom of the tube

Straighten the copper head as required and smear on the white conductive paste

Twist and push the tube firmly home into the collector

Tighten the clip onto the bottom boot until it just grips, do not pinch the rubber boot

Repeat, fitting the reflectors between the tubes as you go
